Why is it easier for men to lose weight than women? |
First, you must understand that women and men have different genetic make-ups. Women are built to carry and nurture children. They also have more estrogen and less testosterone than men. Those, as well as other factors, attribute to females having more body fat than males. Having more body fat means less muscle. Muscle is the most metabolically active tissue in the body. Thus, it makes it harder for women to lose weight, because their metabolisms generally run slower than males. But, women can still lose weight!! |
